About the producer
Our founder grew up on coffee farms alongside his mother and siblings. From a very young age, he learned all the tasks of farm work and worked as an agricultural laborer. Without imagining it, that beginning would lead him to build what Grupo Aral is today; through hard work, vision, and determination, he transformed his story into a family business that integrates every stage of the process, from cultivation to the final cup. Since 2007, driven by the idea of reforesting areas near our municipality, we established our first shade-grown farm and, over time, developed a dry mill to serve both our own needs and those of other small and medium producers, reducing costs and bringing essential services closer. As we have grown, we have expanded into direct sales to local cafés, currently operating two of our own cafés and a coffee brand with both commercial and specialty lines that reflect our origin. Today, as the second generation, his daughters and family continue this legacy under his guidance, bringing new ideas and a modern vision, with a strong commitment to strengthening our social and environmental impact—creating jobs for people in the area and contributing 50% of the water supply for residents in the urban area of La Dalia—while working with responsibility, transparency, and passion for Nicaraguan coffee.
